If I was an adult I would get a Phd in a subject. I would also like to know 6 languages. I would have a dog and own a car. I would have a nice house in Phuket,Thailand . I also want to write a few books. These are what I would do If I were an adult. If you’re reading this blog post you would probably think that I’m not being creative enough and not aiming high enoguh. But what I have learned is that, few people can reach that hight. Some people say that you can do anything but that’s not true. The sooner people realize that the better they’ll do later in life because they’ll be ready for disappointments. What I think people should do is try there best, and if success comes with it, so be it. Even more important is to keep on trying no matter how much disappointment you go through.
One word, depressing. You said that I should set “realistic” goals. YOU CAN”T HOLD ME BACK. I mean who dosen’t like a good over-expectation once in a while eh? Try not to constrain yourself to much, just let go! have fun!
Well, life is depressing. And that is why people should realize that. Later in life when they find that life is depressing it will be harder to handle. That is why we need to be realistic. And I think that most people would agree that a lot of parts of life are depressing.
I love how you follow your passions and you also open yourself up to new ideas by reading such interesting and complex material. What have you learned about Steve Jobs so far in your book?
I like your thought about disappointments. Not everyone is going to become a multi- billionaire and live in a mansion. Most likely you will live a long happy life with some enjoyed success, but overall shooting for the moon is good, but think about it what are the chances you are going to get there?
I agree with Ashwin, it doesn’t mean that you can’t set high goals but you should realize that you may not be able to achive those goals and not be mad if you don’t.
