I am a huge fan of the Hunger Games series by Suzanne Collins. I’ve read all the books. For those of you who don’t know, set in future North America, The Hunger Games is about a competition in which 24 tributes(1 boy and girl from each of the 12 districts of the nation Panem) are placed in an arena and must fight to the death to survive. And only one will be left standing. The Hunger Games serve as a reminder of the revolution called The Uprising that the rebels lost. In the Hunger Games many other things happen. I don’t want to spoil them if you haven’t read them. I looked at the People Magazine that talked about it, and they said that the Hunger Games are the biggest thing since Twilight. I went to see the movie and I had a huge debate with my friends about it.If you’ve read them, which team are you on? Team Peeta, or Team Gale, like me? Please reply with a comment.
I’ve read all the books too but I haven’t seen the movie. Is it good?
I think that the movie is really good. The acting is good and they didn’t change anything, they just left out a lot of the little details.
I think that the movie is really good, but you have to have read the book to understand the movie. I can’t decide which team I’m on, but I love the books too!

I love the hunger games:) me and my friends went to go see it also! yeah your right they just left out some details! I’m defiantly team Peeta:)
I loved the movie too! I personally like Gale better, but I think Katniss just shouldn’t have ended up with either of them.
The movie’s great! I loved the book, great review Olivia.
I am on the second book. I also watched the movie and it was really good!
Good Movie. Great Book. Nice Writing Olivia!
I’ve read all the books and I love them! I also loved the movie! I am definitely on team Gale. You did a great review!
I like district 1, 2, and 4. Go careers! Team Cato.
I want to be on Team Cato also! Careers rock!
Thanks :D, and I didn’t say anything about Cato.
That was a really good summary of the book! I would have to say, that I’m definitely team Peeta! The book had a really good twist at the end!
Olivia,
I have wanted to read the books and watch the movie, but my mom will not let until she reads the book, and on Common Sense Media, she says it rates the movie for adults. Is it really that violent?
Marta
The movie is not that violent and the book is really that bad. But I really can’t say if it’s good for you, everyone has their own tolerance for violence. Whenever you read it though it’ll still be good.
Sorry, I made a mistake, I meant to say that the book is really not that bad.
