I Am Proud Of By David P.

I am proud of not being scared when I climbed the ropes course at Camp Cheerio. It was a ladder with rungs that got farther apart as it went up. It was really tiring and I had to grab on to the bars and roll over to get up. The other course I did was the ladder. It was a rope ladder that was thin and tall. On the way down, my harness got stuck and I had to push it off with my fingers, which caused my finger to bleed. The belaying also made me feel proud. It showed me that people trusted me and that I could trust myself. It made me feel strong.

  1. I climbed to the top of the rope ladder. I kept telling myself that I was going to do just one more step, then go down. I kind of slipped into a trance, and kept going until the top. It turned out to be really fun. I tried to climb the Stairway to Heaven, but I decided to go down after the second or third step. I really enjoyed being your canoeing partner, although you kept nagging me to row faster, when I was the one doing all the work.

  2. But you have to admit that I did almost all the work. You just sat there sticking your paddle into the water. I think that I should have either have gotten paid, or have gotten a break. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!!!

  3. Sticking the paddle in to the water and causing resistance by turning it is how you steer, Davi. You did do lots of work, that’s true.
