You may not believe it, but yesterday I broke a record in Guinness 2012. It wasn’t that hard for me, and I broke it on my third attempt. The record I broke? Fastest time to type the alphabet (Guiness record 3.52sec). I beat the former record of 3.52sec and got 2.98sec! If you want proof, I’ll make a video sometime. Hopefully I can submit it to Guinness, and I’ll hold it!
That’s pretty cool! I believe you but the Guinness people will need proof of you doing it. They probably won’t accept a video because of speed up features on some applications like IMovie. Here is a link to get you started though. I could not make a hyper link of the following url so you can just copy and paste.

Thank you so MUCH! If I get my parent’s permission, I’ll be in 2013 Guiness
Wow, Gus, that is fast! I thought I was a fast typist, but I don’t think I could beat that. Good luck with your record!
you can now see a 2.4 second one on youtube! Search IGLProductionz Typing. Thank you for the support!
Actually just search IGLProductionz and go from there.
That is soooo cool. I watched the video of you doing it and I told my parents that you would be in guinness. They didn’t believe me though. I hope you break another record. Could you teach me? I know you couldn’t because that kind of stuff takes a lot of practice. Keep practicing and improve your record.
Gus,
That is INCREDIBLE! Congratulations! You really have to submit it to Guinness! I hope to see you in “Guinness World Records 2012”!
@joshk Thanks. I’m not sure if I’m old enough (I think you have to be 13), but my record now is 1.8 seconds. It’s not really teaching, or even practice. I just use my fingers and hand-eye coordination a lot, in stuff like piano, Rubik’s Cubes, and speed stacking. The first time i tried to type it, I got 3.42, because I had done all of that stuff.
I thought I had good hand-eye coordination until I heard how well you can type, play Rubik’s cube, and speed stacking. No wonder you are so good at that stuff.
