Stormbreaker by Anthony Horowitz is about a boy named Alex who lives with his uncle because his parents are dead. One day he finds out his uncle supposedly dies in a car crash, but Alex doesn’t believe that. He goes to investigate. He finds out that his uncle was a spy for the MI6. The people that his uncle worked with told Alex that they need his help. Someone was making computers for all of the schools and there was one kid who could test it out early. Alex pretended he was someone else to go in early. His uncle’s work friends told him that they thought there was something suspicious about the computers and Alex had to figure it out before the computers were sent out. Can Alex do it? I really liked this book because one adventurous thing came after another. I would recommend this book to people who like mysteries and books with a lot of action.
I love this book! What is your favorite part? 😃
I’m not sure. The whole book was good! What was your favorite part?
Do you think that a person needs to be interested in computers or technology to enjoy this book?
I don’t think people need to be interested in computers or technology because it is still a good adventure/mystery book.
I agree. Have you guys read the whole series? It gets way better than Stormbreaker. But I have to admit, Stormbreaker was good.
That sounds like a good book Michiko. Do you think adults would like it too, or just 6th graders?
I think it is a great book for everyone of all ages. If you don’t like reading mysteries or adventure books you probably will not like it.
