Last month I went fishing for my first time. We went to Jordan Lake in our fishing boat. I went with my brother Jordan, Chris, and Scotty. We went to a place in the lake where a road leads right into the lake. I caught a piece of road with my fishing pole and it was really hard to get off. The next part we went to was next to a little island. We caught a few fish there but they got loose and took our bait. On our ride back we got to ride in front and a big wave from a giant boat came onto our boat and got us all wet but it kind of felt cool since we were hot all day. When we got into the car Chris asked if we wanted to go to Judy’s pond and fish there because we didn’t get any fish. When we got to Judy’s pond I was the first to catch a fish. We caught about 6 fish each but we ran out of worms so we had to go home. That fishing trip was fun. I wish we could go fishing again on Jordan Lake.

Wow, on one trip you caught more fish than I have in 30 years. I think you can teach me a thing or two, what is your trick?
I just put worms on the hook I tried using a bobber but it didn’t work as well.
