This year the whole DA Middle School got iPads that we would use in classes for class notes, to write down homework, and a whole bunch of other stuff! I really like the iPads but I do kind of think that they are a lot of work to keep up with and they can sometimes be annoying! But it’s really ok because in classes they really do help a lot! Even though we get our own iPads there are still some guidelines that have to go with it. Some of the guidelines are:
1. We may not play with our iPads during classes unless we are assigned to by the teacher.
2. We must charge our iPad after school so the next day when we go to class in will be 100% fully charged.
3. Another guideline is that we are not allowed to play with our devices at carpool waiting to be picked up.
4. We are not allowed to download apps (games, social apps, etc.) on our own. The school has a set list of apps we use for each grade level.
5. Whenever the iPad is not being used it should be in a place that is very secure such as: a locker, classroom (that is locked up), or a bag that is being watched by you.
Those are most of the basic guidelines of the iPad, but the iPads are still a really fun device! I love using them but I wish we used them more during classes. 😉
I wish I had an iPad, they seem very helpful and lots of fun! Hope Jenny will show me how to use it one day:)
