Last weekend I went to a farm with Some friends. At the farm we did a corn maze. It was pretty tricky because everywhere you went looked exactly the same. So we found our way out by just keep going straight even if it wasn’t on a path. That was a challenge but at the same time it was very exciting.
After that the fun wasn’t done. We had some pizza and played with the baby goats, and donkeys. When the sun went down, to get in the Halloween spirit, we went on a handed trail. Well, I can’t really say I did the trail because everyone but one of my friends, my mom, and brother were the only ones who did it. I was going to do it until we were waiting in line and a man with red eyes and a chain saw came out. He started chasing us because we were the most scared and he went to the people who were terrified. Many people including me chickened out at that time except for a few people who went in but came right back out.
As my mom, my brother, and one of my friends were still in the trail, all of us were waiting at the exit for them to come out. When we were waiting, suddenly a corn stalk fell down. Uh oh, I was the only one who saw it, and out came the guy with the chain saw again. This time he started chasing me. He was chasing me everywhere and I had no clue what to do. I had this idea to run to the middle of a crowd of people who were in line to buy tickets. At that point I was 99 percent sure I was safe so I stopped to take a breath. Well I guess I was wrong, because he just acted like there was nobody surrounding me. He charged right into the crowd, going for me and I ran behind the ticket booth. Not the best plan, because if he came back there with me I would be cornered. Of course he did, so I just stood there terrified as he was standing behindind me. I didn’t hear anything but the sound of his chain saw buzzing.
About 30 seconds later he stopped his chain saw and took his mask off. There he was standing with a big bloody cut on his face, and this was not a fake mask it was a real cut. It turns out when he chased me into the big crowd, someone got so scared they hit him. Well now I was safe and I just went back out to my friends who were watching me the whole time. It was probably very amusing to them. I was still shaking even when I was around my parents and friends.
A few minutes later all of us were in a huddle talking and suddenly a werewolf stuck their head in our conversation. I saw it but not many others did. Then when one of my friends turned around they saw the face and freaked out. Everyone was laughing because the werewolf just put its head right on her shoulder and she didn’t even notice.
Soon after that we packed up the cars and went home. The whole ride home was a long trip through the pitch dark country side, and I had this strange feeling that two red eyes were going to pop out next to my window. That night was very fun and scary and I don’t think I would have survived it if my friends were not there!
Oh Anna! That night was soo much fun, thanks!
How long did it take to get out of the corn maze?
Probably an hour and a half to two hours.
That sounds really fun, and scary😜
That was so scary Anna! But it was really fun, that was so funny when you were being chased!
