It’s that time of year to decorate trees, make cookies and make your wish list! Can you believe that Christmas is only 7 days away! Christmas is one of my favorite holidays. It’s a time when all of my family is together and we have an amazing time! When I do appreciate all the gifts a receive, I especially enjoy the actual feel of Christmas. I can’t wait for Christmas and winter break! I hope we get at least 2 inches of snow this year! Happy almost Christmas everyone! 🎅🎄🎁

Today in Language Arts we took an open note wisdom tale test. When I took the wisdom tales test I thought it was helpful to have my notes if I needed them. When I first looked at the test, it looked a little hard. Although when I actually got the test and started it, it was easy. I liked how we had the option of extra credit. I think memorizing the last six lines was a good way to earn extra credit!

Today in Language Arts we took a wisdom tales test. It was an open note test. We took all of our notes on our iPads. It was a little hard to find the stories but eventually I would find them. It was so much easier than memorizing all of those stories, instead we got to use our iPads which was great. I really enjoy taking open note tests because it gives you a chance to show how much you have worked on your notes. There were many advantages to be using your iPad. For example, if you made a Mindmeister map of the similar morals it was a lot easier when you had to use it for the test. Using the iPads was a great idea.

Yesterday we went gleaning for community service. Gleaning is picking up potatoes that are left in the fields. It was pretty fun but it hurt my back after a while. We were picking up potatoes for people who don’t have enough money for food or a house. I felt very good that we were picking up extra food for homeless people that would otherwise go to waste. My group packed 100 bags. It was awesome. Everyone was great and everyone worked really hard to pick up as many potatoes as possible in an hour and a half. We packed over 1,000 pounds.

Today in LA we learned how to post blogs. It took me a long time to figure out what I was going to blog about. I then decided to blog about blogging. I have wanted to create my own web site for a while and I am happy to blog on this. I feel like it is the web site I have always wanted. The only thing is it is not mine. I am fine with that.
