In Language Arts class we made brains that represented us. This is my brain and this is what I like and like to do. We also hade to make a Life List. A Life List is a list of things that we want to do over our whole life. My Life List mostly has things that are to do with sports. My brain also has a lot of sports in it because I like sports. In my whole life I hope to complete everything on my Life List.

My Brain by Grace
This year in Language Arts class we made a Life List, and put what we wanted to do before we die. Everyone wrote one, mine had mainly things I want to do with my friends and places I wanted to travel. I really enjoyed writing mine. I would like to keep up with it and check it off later. I can’t wait to do some of the things on my Life list. I think it is a fun way to keep track of what you eventually want to do.

This year we created a Life List in Language Arts class. This as a lot of fun because I got to hear what other people wanted to do and come up things that I want to do and accomplish during my life time. A lot of my goals were related to travel, but some were goals that I just really want to accomplish. Some of my items include: go to all seven continents, go to the seven wonders of the world, graduate high school, graduate college, get certified for scuba diving, go to Spain, go to Thailand, go sky diving etc.!
Some of these goals I have already started working on, for example get certified for scuba diving- I have already started the certification process and I not need my four certification dives, and then Great Barrier Reef here I come! I’m also working on a lot of my travel goals! My family never misses an opportunity to go to an exotic country! I can also see the influences from my sixth grade year on my Life List, like go to Spain because I take Spanish. I really love the class and language and I want to go there.

In Language Arts class, we made a figurative picture of our brain. One of the other things we did in Language Arts class was write stories. Technically, we had a choice between writing a story or writing sentences with our Vocabulary words, but I chose to write stories. Here are two stories that I wrote.
It was another calm day at Equestrian Farm and Track. Avery Apple was catching up on the latest Saw movies when he heard a scream. A monolith had fallen on Old Bob Banana, pinning the nadir of his peel to the ground. “Oh no, a monolith has fallen on me and pinned the nadir of my peel to the ground!” He shouted.
Avery Apple languidly strolled over and tried to pick the monolith up. He was distracted by the spectrum of colors on the monolith. “What variety!” He exclaimed.
“Just get this darned monolith of the nadir of my peel!” Shrieked Bob Banana.
“No worries.” Avery Apple said, “I’ll get the titanic progeny of that pugilist who lives down that tortuous road.
“Are you talking about Tortuous Lane?” Bob Banana asked.
“Yep.” Avery Apple answered.
“But I hear that lane is filled with the truculent offspring in the lineage of the great Scrooge himself!” Bob Banana exclaimed, then added: “I really hate that penurious fellow.”
“Yep, I would do anything for you Bob” Avery Apple said while kowtowing. “Well, I should be off. goodbye!!”

While Avery Apple was walking down Tortuous Lane, he pondered the strange purple nodule that appeared on every third tree he saw. On every fourth tree; an oscillating pendulum, swinging back and forth. It was so soporific, that Avery fell down, lying prostrate, with his right arm tucked under his body, and fell asleep. Avery awoke to a lugubrious tune. He shifted position, so that he could see who was making the sound. All Avery saw was a whirling maelstrom. Avery immediately jumped up, and looked at his surroundings. Someone had moved him to the edge of a vast lake. His destination was past the maelstrom, twenty feet away. Avery felt as though it was trying to tantalize him. Avery realized that he would never get help for Bob Banana, so he walked back home; a saturnine expression on his face. When he got back, Avery saw Bob Banana, waiting to greet him. Ever since he saw Bob Banana, Avery Apple wouldn’t talk; not when watching Saw III, not when playing catch with his sister, not even when in school.
