“Talk To Your Teen” by Kay Y.

In the book cosmic, Liam is reading a book called Talk to Your Teen, in order to learn how to be a grown up. Here are some ideas I would add to the book.

Do you want to know more about your teen’s social life? Then you should make them feel comfortable talking about it. To make sure that your child feels comfortable let them go over to their friend’s houses often, and let them have their friends over. (A plus about having friends over constantly is it encourages your teen to keep their room cleaner than it might normally be.)

To get to know your teens social life you need to know their friends and how they interact with each other. Also, you want to make sure that you joke with them, but don’t try and act younger than you are or change your personality.

If you want your teen to open don’t tease them about something that they don’t want to be mentioned. But most importantly to get them to open up, make sure they have fun with you spontaneously. I often have the most fun spontaneously, for instance once my dad, my sister, and I got into a whipped cream fight, all of us had a lot of fun! I think the key for getting them to open up is making sure they have fun with you.

Talk To Your Teen by Nathan G.

In the book Cosmic by Frank Cottrell Boyce, there is a book called Talk to Your Teen in which the main character, Liam, uses to act as a father to go to a thrill park that was new even though he is only twelve. Here is an article I would write in the book.

Some kids want allowance just because their friends have it, while others want it for money. Whatever the cause, it is a great idea. You get a bunch of tasks done for just a little bit of money. Also, this teaches good life lessons. Some kids go off to college and don’t know how to clean dishes or wash pans! I consider that a failure on the parent’s part. There is a type of allowance that works better than just giving a kid seven dollars at the end of a week. Give your child a jar to put on his or her nightstand. In the jar put 30 dollars. If the chore or whatever you assign to be done isn’t done for that day, then take a dollar out. At the end of the week, tell the child they can spend the money they didn’t lose that week!

Talk To Your Teen by Will P

In Cosmic, a book by Frank Cotrell Boyce, Liam pretends to be Florida’s dad on a trip although they are both only kids. Liam gets away with it because he is tall and “stubbly.” Liam brings Talk To Your Teen, which is a book that he uses to help him pretend to be a better dad.

I think that it is important to talk to your teen about things that they enjoy. Examples of this are sports, video games, reading, etc. It is also important to do things with your teen. For example, playing sports with them, playing video games with them, watching sports with them, etc.

I wrote about doing fun activities and talking about enjoyable things with your teen because this is what my parents do. They play sports with me and watch sports with me. My dad even plays sports video games with my brother and me.

In the book Cosmic, Liam is the main character reading a book called, Talk To Your Teen. This is a book giving advice to parents about their teenage daughters or sons.

Some advice that I would give to parents about teenagers is listening. An example is if your teenager is in a situation and trying to explain something to you, listen to them and don’t keep fighting back. Let them explain their part of the story and then you explain yours.

You might really want to listen to them because you could’ve underestimated them and thought that they did something bad, but it really wasn’t them, and you would know that it wasn’t them if you listen and just let them get out what they are trying to say. And you (being the parent) stop trying to fight back and not give them any time to talk when they could have a better story than you.

That is all my advice on listening to your teen, and I hope you take this advice because it will really help!
