I’m Thankful For… By Davi S-G

I’m thankful for my golden retriever Sky. He has been with me since I was born, and even before that. My dog Sky is thirteen in human years, which makes him ninety-one in dog years. When I come home from school, or any activity, Sky is always there to greet me in his doggy way: wagging his tail, and sniffing my clothes and backpack. Sky is very lazy, and he sleeps all day. My family has to trick him to go outside. We ring the doorbell, making him think that there is someone outside, which makes him jump up and run to the door. If that doesn’t work, then we bribe Sky with his dog food. Sky basically owns my house. He sleeps anywhere he wants, as long as my dad make him go away. Because he’s so old, in January I’m giving sky a puppy. I hope that Sky will take care of the puppy, and be like it’s dad. In conclusion, I’m thankful for my dog Sky because he comforts me in times of need.

Thanksgiving By Alex P

Pumpkin pie baking,

Gardeners raking,

School is out,

No homework to worry about

The family says the prayer,

Dessert is saved for later,

Food piled on the platter,

Utensils clatter

Delicious flavors,

So much to savor,

Which to eat first?

None of the foods are the “worst”

Dinner comes to a close,

There aren’t any woes,

Outside it gets dark,

Which is what marks,

The end of Thanksgiving dinner.

Thanksgiving by Lana K.

Thanksgiving is coming up and I am looking forward to it! Usually, every year my immediate family hosts my distant family for Thanksgiving dinner, but this year we are going to the beach to be thankful. I am thankful for going to such an amazing school and having such a great family and friends. On Thanksgiving, people most likely eat turkey, although, being in a Greek family, we eat lamb on Thanksgiving (along with other traditional Thanksgiving foods). My favorite dessert by far is pecan pie, so as you could imagine, I really love Thanksgiving desserts. I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving celebration!

Thanksgiving Plans by Will

Over Thanksgiving my family and I are going to the Universal Studios theme park in Orlando, Florida. Universal has two theme parks: Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios. We are staying at the Hard Rock Hotel which is right next to both parks, so you can easily walk from the hotel to the parks in a couple of minutes.

Theme parks are one of my favorite things, so I am very excited, especially because Universal is the best theme park in my opinion. In fact, Universal is my favorite place in the whole world. Below is a picture of the hulk roller coaster in Islands of Adventure.

I’m thankful for my family and my friends. They are very helpful in life. For example, if I’m hurt my friends and family would help me. They’re so important to me. I can’t wait to see all of my other family members during Thanksgiving. I’m very grateful for having a great meal in front of me. My mom even made pie for us.This past Thanksgiving we had a great meal, and a lot of my family members were there. We got to eat at my aunt and uncle’s house. My great-grandmother even came. I’m so lucky to have my family there with me every Thanksgiving.

I’m so grateful for having a meal in front of me every day. This past Thanksgiving we had a great time. I saw my brother and sister, I rarely see them. We had a great meal. We went on a cruise and had Thanksgiving dinner on the boat. I loved spending time with my family. I am so thankful for my whole family.

Hi! Sorry, a little delay on the Thanksgiving thankful write-hehe. So here it is!

I am thankful for my family, and my pets. I am thankful that I get to do figure skating and modeling. I am thankful for the big turkey too! I am thankful for friends and teachers. I am thankful for school (minus the homework.) Wow, it’s already the last day of November. Tomorrow it will be December and I can start counting down the days ’till Christmas. So happy holidays to everyone!
